Girlguiding in Chandler’s Ford has come a long way in the past 100 years. We pride ourselves on changing as the lives of girls change. Every week over 600 girls and young women from Chandler’s Ford attend a weekly meeting, with the aim of trying new activities, challenging themselves and above all to have fun!
In recent years girls from Girlguiding Chandler’s Ford have tried many varied activities including: kneel boarding, radio ‘World Thinking Day on the Air’, arts and crafts, climbing, abseiling, sleepovers, holidays on the beach, camps and a group of young women recently undertook community work whilst visiting a Girlguiding Centre in Sangam, India.
None of this would be possible without each and every one of our 150 volunteers who support these activities week in week out. It is rewarding voluntary work and often comes with the bonus of making new friends and having a go yourself.

If you are interested in donating some time to support us we’d love to hear from you. You do not need to commit to a weekly meeting, one off support at other events or help in the background is also welcome.
